Nivankoulu Apartments is a former school repurposed and renovated to operate as a residential service. It’s located by Lake Pitämyssalmi, 30 km south of Joensuu. The surrounding area provides a peaceful place to relax or an opportune location for outdoors activities in both winter and summer. Nearby opens up a serene view of the lake, a popular location for fishing and canoeing. Being a former school property there is also a sports field and a playground for children, provided with swings and a sandbox.
